------------------------I headed for Doncaster South Yorkshire England to catch a bus to Epworth Lincolnshire. Has the bus approached the Epworth bus stop the driver said "Next stop house of the Big Man" being his way of saying the Rectory ,the birthplace of John and Charles Wesley. Founders of the Methodist Church. Parents ,Samuel and Susanna Wesley had 17 other children. --The old Rectory is in Queen Anne Style, and was rebuilt after a fire in 1709which John escaped . Samuel Wesley was Rector of Epworth from 1695 to 1735 . Samuel is buried in St. Andrews churchyard.. Today the Rectory is a museum open to the public, with guided tours. I missed the tour but did go inside the Wesley Memorial Church.------------------Epworth is halfway bewteen Goole and Gainsborough. A bus bus to Doncaster is 2 hourly. It is 20 miles to Doncaster, 10 miles to Scunthorpe.
